Info
What would cakes, soda, or jam be without it? A world without sugar is unthinkable. But how did it come to this? Hardly anything has moved as many people around the globe as the greed for sugar. In a blend of dance, audio play, and media installation, the audience is sent on a wild journey to Europe, the “New World,” but also to Hawaii and Japan, among other places.
Post Theater (Stuttgart / Berlin) loves the cultural history of food. After fish, coffee, and bread, the company is now focusing on “white gold”—the once enormously valuable and blood-stained sugar.
For everyone who loves or fears sweets—also suitable for ages 12 and up.
