Call for Participation: Focus Group on the Decentralized Venue Model of FTTS gUG
We were very pleased by the positive response from the Independent Dance and Theatre Scene of Stuttgart to the initial presentation of the Decentralized Venue Model. Therefore, we would like the further coordination process with the Solidarity Community of Stuttgart Theatres and other partner institutions that have contacted us to be accompanied by a focus group from the Independent Scene. We are looking for five individuals who are artistically and/or organizationally active in the Independent Dance and Theatre Scene Stuttgart and wish to contribute their perspectives to the further development process.

Speech by the Independent Scene as part of the rally – “We are the Stuttgart Sign!”
At the “We are the Stuttgart Sign!” rally on June 6, 2026, on Stuttgart’s market square, organized by the Stuttgart Alliance for Culture, Education, and Social Affairs, a large number of people showed that culture, education, and social affairs are not a dispensable luxury, but the foundation of a vibrant urban society. During the rally, Jule Lotte Bröcker, freelance puppeteer and physical comedian, spoke for Stuttgart’s culture.

FTTS is once again funding performances and revivals of productions without municipal project funding from the Dance and Theater Department
We are pleased to be able to support projects from Stuttgart’s independent dance and theater scene, even though the funds are limited.
