Are you still looking for a venue for your project in 2027? Save the date – for the next information session on the planned decentralized venue model
On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 9:00 AM and on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM, two online events by FTTS will take place, each with identical content.
We will inform you about the current status of the planned decentralized venue concept in cooperation with venues of the ‘Solidargemeinschaft Stuttgarter Theater’, ‘Schaudepot’, and ‘Kunstverein Wagenhalle e.V.’.
The goal is to inform you about the model before the application deadline for municipal project funding from the Dance and Theater Department, Cultural Office, on October 15, 2026, so that you can take this into account in your planning, venue search, and application submission.

Initial Situation
Despite a vibrant and productive independent dance and theater scene, significant structural challenges persist.
A permanent dedicated venue for the independent dance and theater scene is still not available. Against this background, there is an urgent need to make better use of existing resources and establish sustainable cooperation structures within Stuttgart’s theater landscape.
We are currently in discussions with politicians, administration, and theaters as well as performance venues, and are discussing joint space solution models.
