Emilia Dorr

Emilia Dorr is an Argentine choreographer and performance artist who studied Choreographic Composition with a focus on physical expression at UNA in Buenos Aires and holds a Master’s degree in Theory and Practice of Experimental Performance from HMDK in Stuttgart. Her interdisciplinary work focuses on building relationships and creating shared experiences with the audience. She was Artist in Residence at the Festival 10 Tage Freischwimmen 2024 and received project funding from the Stuttgart Cultural Office 2024 together with Tyler Cunningham. Her personal project “Ephemeral Sharings” is supported by project funding from the Stuttgart Cultural Office 2025.

In addition to her own projects, Emilia works in production and performs as a performer for other artists.

In addition to her artistic work, Emilia is also active in the field of production and project assistance. Among others, she has worked with the duo Herbordt/Mohren as well as the production company schæfer&sœhne and was choreographic assistant to Daura Hernández.
