The freie bühne stuttgart gUG is the young multicultural independent dance and theater ensemble in Stuttgart. Since 2013, we have been working inclusively and interdisciplinarily with dance, theater, music, and film. We organize inclusive encounter formats such as parties, workshops, seminars, and excursions. For our cooperation partners, we provide impulses to initiate inclusion and dismantle existing barriers in their institutions. In our project ensembles, professional stage artists and amateurs aged 12 and above work together. We contribute to making the experiences, perspectives, and sense of life of people with disabilities visible as part of our social coexistence through artistic means. We give young people opportunities, joy of life, and hope. Our motivation is the young people who meet each other respectfully—indeed lovingly—in our projects, who benefit from one another, and who demonstrate that inclusion is not a utopia but a cultural asset.
