Dear friends of the theater dancing on a razor’s edge,
we, TheaterAmFenster, a casual ensemble that sometimes even collaborates with tender affection,
are performing… but why, actually?
The Production:
“Just call me Jonny”
About domestic violence against men.
We know, yes, we know that! (We are not naive at all.) Women are much more often victims of
violence.
But… and we have truly researched this seriously and metaphysically correctly…
domestic violence against men does exist. And not so rarely. But often very hidden.
We are producing this together with the empathetic support of Caritas, the Bischof-
Moser-Haus, a community center in the Bohnenviertel. For this, we are very grateful.
And with the goodwill of the Dreigroschentheater, where we will perform the second show.
As always, we will perform professionally, with dedication, and hopefully unpretentiously.
We ourselves are breathless about the topic, as we do not know how such a topic will be
received by the audience.
Afterwards, we would be happy to discuss it over a glass of red wine or something similar.
