Role Back! – Breaking Free from Role Models
Info
The workshop offers young people aged 14–18 a safe space to engage artistically and critically with gender roles, privileges, and social power structures. The focus is on patriarchal structures, stereotypical role models, and anti-feminist movements such as the “Manosphere.” Theater pedagogical exercises are combined with queer-feminist educational and awareness work. Through playful, performative, and dialogic methods, participants explore body images, beauty ideals, and the influence of social media on their everyday lives. The workshop encourages questioning thought patterns, reflecting on social responsibility, and strengthening one’s own self-efficacy. In this way, it combines theater, education, and empowerment, sending a signal for equality and diversity.
