On St. Nicholas Day, the artists unpack their sounds, movements, and ideas, inviting you to an evening full of surprises: In the real-time composition, a unique stage event is unpacked.

SAAL FREI has no fixed script, no choreography, and no composition. Everything that happens that evening is created – NOW. Impulses are set, picked up, and transformed:

A movement finds its answer in a sound. The sound creates a mood. The mood becomes the impulse for action. Action creates relationships. Relationships fill with life, change, and continually bring forth something new.
