Program: SHORTIES #24

DANCE

“In den Seilen hängen” // Luis Hergón & Daura Hernández García

The dance performance “In den Seilen hängen” by Luis Hergón and Daura Hernández García uses the image of a spider’s web as a metaphor for human existence. Through an interplay of movement, sound, and image, the piece explores themes such as time, love, and freedom, raising questions about the balance between stability and adaptation.

Concept, Choreography, Dance: Luis Hergón, Daura Hernández García

PUPPET THEATER

“100jährige Dinge erzählen – Ein poetisch-theatraler Zukunftsunterricht” // Ensemble Materialtheater

In the puppet theater section, Ensemble Materialtheater presents “100jährige Dinge erzählen – Ein poetisch-theatraler Zukunftsunterricht,” a humorous yet reflective examination of objects from the 1920s. Everyday items become “temporal objects” that speak of technical progress, social upheavals, and recurring political dynamics, while directing attention to current questions of solidarity and cohesion.
